Lego scene - Material Presentation

Another weekend project. I created these materials entirely in Substance Designer and decided to create a small scene to showcase them a bit better. I modeled the scene using 3Ds Max and the teddy was a quick sculpt in Zbrush using zspheres. Added a bit of filth and fun colouring in Substance Painter for the box and teddy. Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag.

I allowed myself to play around with the materials and look at the effect they have on the scene.

While all the materials were fairly simple to make, the lego material was rather tricky in some aspects. But the mask option in the tile generators really helped when for example creating difference in colour.

I added the textures in Substance Painter. Although a tiny bit of details were baked from a high poly version onto the low poly mesh, I kept it simple to be able to explore how much of a difference the actual material would make.
